February 23, 2024 - Simple and linear, with puckery notes of white grapefruit and Granny Smith apple throughout. Medium-high acid, and almost spritzy. This has patio pounder written all over it.
February 28, 2023 - Thai Taco Tuesday: Featuring Weingut Wechsler (Anajak Thai, Los Angeles CA): The nose is pristine and fragrant with saline, white peaches, green apples, white fruits, a touch of oily notes, green herbs, acacia flowers, and jasmine. The nose hits the upper register, but it lacks some depth to really drive it. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and fresh with racy, high acidity. This is a lovely and fun Riesling Trocken. It shows off good balance and freshness, but lacks the depth to take it to another level.
May 27, 2022 - Light straw. Pome fruits and citrus like grapefruit. The acids are a bit too much for me to keep the balance now. Maybe better on a hot summerday in the garden. Anything but great. 5/11/13/7. -2028. The 93 points from suckling are quite a bit too much for me.
April 23, 2022 - Very dry, high acidity. Grassy feel. Decent.
February 13, 2022 - Lite mer fruktig riesling. Päron och guld äpplen. En del syra i botten.
October 29, 2021 - Juicy, firm citrus, but not harsh, a real finish.
September 26, 2021 - PnP and ready to go from the start. Great bottle of wine at this level: playful, youth, great fruit, ok length - and the adorable white fruit. I like this grower!
