December 7, 2022 - Quick decant. Purple. Nose of blue fruits. Black fruits, plum and mild black pepper. Full bodied and balanced. Very smooth, mouth filling and precise with fine grained tannins. Long, long finish. Drinking well young. Delicious.

July 15, 2022 - Friday Group Brown Bag Tasting (Eagle Brook CC): Double blind. Initially very simple and tight, showing a dominant soy note in the bouquet and black fruit on the palate, with a subtle sourness that I don't care for. With time in the glass this becomes quite nice as the soy fades, revealing more black fruit which is complemented by pepper, spice and meaty notes. Full-bodied with firm tannin. (R&R)

May 31, 2022 - Too young to rate. Too young to have opened! Very big and tannic even after several hours in the decanter. Really nice fruit and although big it is balanced. This is going to be excellent. But wait. A long time.
