March 3, 2023 - Violets, dusty earth, dried fruits, silky, med bodied, good acidity that extends length. Stylish wine

September 30, 2022 - Gorgeous yarra bordeaux blend. It’s totally resolved and seems at peak right now. Both silky smooth and long. Not a hair out of place. Could do with a few more of these.

February 4, 2021 - NobleRottersSydney - Yarra v Margaret (Fix, St James, Sydney): {cork, 14%} [Graeme] Cabernets sauvignon and franc, merlot, malbec. Double-decanted before dinner. Developing nose of currant and plums. Medium weight, medium dusty tannins. Black fruits on the palate, no oak sticking out. Even palate, nothing out of place. Medium/long finish. Drinking very nicely now, moderate complexity, could be more to come if the cork holds. The decant helped; it smelt and tasted much clunkier three hours earlier. Beautiful Bdx blend from Yarra.

July 28, 2018 - Great Bordeaux blend from Yarra Valley: cassis, blueberry, blackberry, plums and leather on the nose: it’s all finely balanced fruit and spice. Tannins exceedingly smooth on the palate, with a fruit and savoury spice finish. Great.

May 13, 2018 - Cassis, blueberry, plum, truffle with some earthy and leather notes. Fine, well integrated tannins, with exceeding smooth mouthfeel. There's a long, smooth finish of dark fruit and savoury spice. Delicious.
