August 23, 2022 - Deep golden yellow colour with a mature nose and a smoothing acidity on the palate. Bottle from the late 1970's.
March 20, 2021 - Light golden color. Fresh brioche nose. Lovely mousse with flavors of quince, pear, apple, ginger, and mild citrus. The wine has a great vibrancy to it. Ready to drink now, but has an acidity that should allow it to evolve nicely for the next few years.
November 14, 2020 - (Probably disgorged in the late 1970s)
Deep golden colour with a very nice maturity showing notes of sherry and citrus flowers with a very crisp and lengthy finish showing a nice acidity.
June 22, 2015 - Wine with a Few Smaller Meals While in Burgundy; 6/22/2015-7/5/2015 (France): By the glass in Reims. Lots of apple and pear with some fresh baguette aromas. Same flavor profile. Full rounded textures to start with a good burst of energy on finish.
October 29, 2013 - Nose: this has a nice bread base for the nose with pears, minerals, peaches, and of course bread tones. There is nice depth to this with good balance as well.
Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium/high acidity. The feel is very polished with red apples, breads, pears, minerals, and some citrus notes.
Overall: This is a very good NV bubbly. The feel really makes the wine as it is very refined and balanced.
February 7, 2011 - (La Grande Ourse, Val D'Isère) Nice and meaty N.V.
January 15, 2011 - Really nice Champagne. Toasty with a hint of citrus on the finish. Crisp and fresh.
July 20, 2010 - Blooms in your mouth with notes of honey and toast. Nice mouth feel, bright.
