Community Tasting Notes 10

December 28, 2019 - Typical baroque style of Pichler; full bodied, concentrated yellow fruits, hints of boytritis and loaded with minerality. Luckily, it maintains freshness, energy and Riesling-power.

May 13, 2017 - HDH auction tasting at Tru (Chicago, IL): Ok, wow, nphase worried I'd hate this but I think everyone was pleased that I was wrong. This is incredibly good. Sappy and thick, with heaps of botrytis and sweet yellow fruit. Very powerful, but incredibly good cut at the same time. This makes me think a little bit of G-Max...

March 9, 2014 - "Best bottle for about 100 Euro" (Daniels Home): Colour: Light and bright golden color.
Nose: A more "darker" nose. Citrus, stone fruit, kohlrabi and a just a hint of honey alongside a nice "crushed wet stones" mineral component.
Palate: Very mineral driven with a taste like salty stones and some butter. Very creamy & opulent but with a lot of power on the mid-palate. You can recognize the high alcohol. Baroque style. Very long finish.

Gets even better in combination with food.
