June 24, 2021 - Gareth's Magnum Dinner, part 1 (Noize): Much sweeter than the '47, but gorgeously so: full of barley sugar and stem ginger along with the wet wool. Lacked the complexity and the weightlessness of the older wine, but still very good.

March 15, 2014 - Deep yellow straw color. The nose was quite OK but closed. Typical Chenin tones with wet wool, melon and honey. Unfortunately the acid is gone. This bottle didn't make it. Not really flawed just death by age.
