December 30, 2023 - Retains good colour; red fruits, smoky, spirity; good attack, fruit now being overtaken; an attractive portiness on the extended finish. Best drunk sooner rather than later.

January 6, 2023 - Decanted eight hours before drinking. Very dark. Licorice and dark berries, medium sweet, not very long. Easy to drink now though not on a par with the 'real' vintage ports.

September 19, 2022 - Tasted over three days and apparently flawed in some way. Not typically corked but something like it, unclear, murky. Neither undrinkable nor a pleasure.

December 26, 2021 - Deep complex nose. Needs some air. Palate starts elegant and smooth and after a few seconds then come the acid and tannins which is excellent.

December 12, 2020 - Giving pleasure and broad but not particularly complex. Certainly a step up from LBV or crusted.

August 29, 2020 - CV1. Dark blackish-red, red edge, 6. Unfocused sweetish bouquet, seems to be in a transition phase. Wait some years....

January 11, 2020 - Tasted at the Three Borders Wine Group annual dinner, Hampshire, UK. Served to close our evening and appreciated by most of the group. There was an initial mustiness on the nose, but this seemed to pass within a few minutes and it didn't affect the palate. Prominent sweet fruit. Quite long.

November 9, 2019 - Deep blackish colour. Decanted. After some days in the fridge it show lovely black peppery fruit with fine and long aftertaste. A really lovely port when it is given plenty of air.

    December 29, 2018 - Very good but overpriced for a quasi-vintage Port.
