April 18, 2024 - Great aromatics on this wine, with lemon oil/zest and a strong sense of opulence in the fruits with slightly tropical hints. Intensely floral. It remains cool and fresh though, not going overboard with the fruit forwardness.
The palate is actually quite restrained at this point, giving mostly spicy lemon and green apple. Crystalline acid structure with just enough tension to cut through the weight. There's an austere bitterness on the finish that lasts quite long. Not entirely sure what to make of it right now but I think I like it. Need to hold on for sure - this feels like it has lots to offer still.

February 16, 2024 - Nice and rich, very fruity and floral, almost too much so. Went well with fish & chips.

August 13, 2023 - Profound nose of quince, green apples and salt. Rich, fat texture, green fruits. Good volume, round and smooth, but also very young. Spices at the back-end. I’d cellar this further, there is more to come.

June 23, 2023 - This needed an hour decant. No reduction. Great harmony of citrus and opulent orchid fruit. Precise from start to a long finish. Very nice!

December 30, 2022 - Taut, sharp and drunk too young. Hold onto it.

December 3, 2022 - Nervy and vibrant, but plenty of soil character here. Also a good bit of reduction. I’d give this a couple more years, but if you like matchstick in with your pinpoint ripe Chardonnay, this may just be for you. Like it a lot, but I suspect this could turn into a torrid affair with 2-5 years in the cellar. Quite good now, but more I store I suspect.

April 28, 2022 - Instantly recognisable as Chardonnay. Perfectly pleasant and a typical but one can find better QPR elsewhere. I have just, for myself, discovered an Organic Chardonnay from Chile which delivers much better quality for less money.
