April 20, 2024 - First of the '20 and this bottle is in no way representative of the '19 (or any other Andremily) that I've had. Not sure what was wrong with this, but it was flawed or defective in some way.

April 20, 2024 - Opened by Lostverse. I think this is primarily Mouvedre. Dark reddish pink color. Full bodied. One of the heaviest Rose wines I have had. Dark spices and alcohol. Blackberry and cassis. Not sure what to make of this wine and really hard to score. Metallic finish. Needs food. In the end it is just too heavy and over the top for my taste. 85 points.

February 14, 2024 - Checks off all the boxes for a V-Day dinner. Deep rose hue; check. Glides along the palate; check. Invites conversation because of its complexity; check. Opens in the glass over the course of the evening; double check. This was beautiful. Just like my bride. Drink now to 2027. Outstanding.

September 27, 2023 - Tasted blind and guessed SQN rose albeit the first look was of a rich Pinot once on the palate it reminded us of The Pontiff from SQN all those years ago. A wine that drew a lot of attention and was probably the talk of the evening on account of how unique it was and was married well with meaty dishes and this is more of a light colour punchy red than your classic rose. However has a bit of a fois gras effect on us that is one cannot have a lot of this as the richness and power pushes back. Very solid 90-91 still

June 27, 2023 - Sample tasting at work (Oinoscent): The wine shows pale cherry color. In the nose, the wine shows density, fresh ripe cherries, red currants, cherry candy.
In the palate, the wine shows tannins, warmth from 14.30% alcohol, ripe cherry, nice texture, medium to full body and long finish
A very serious rose wine for pairing food rather than drinking on its own, very different

June 19, 2023 - Don’t expect your typical rose. We started with this chilled and gradually let it warm up. It just continues to develop in the glass. Complex and layers of flavor. Heavier than a typical rosé. Expressive nose of red cherry, strawberry, melon and then something herbal that I can’t put my finger on. Held up very well with charcuterie.

March 31, 2023 - Opened and decanted. Followed for about 4 hours and my first experience with this Mourvedre rose. On the nose, I get some scents of cedar, strawberries, a touch of maple syrup, and candied cherries. On the palate, definite berry character with a somewhat saline note as well as some slight saltiness. I like this wine but at $70 a pop, a tad overpriced in my mind. I have 3 more that I will follow over the years to see how it develops.

June 3, 2022 - Vauw. How to describe this? Darker than your usual rosé, a little more light than a Beausolais. Raspberry and sweet rhubarb gives a very fresh touch. But on the palate it is oh so deep with nice tannins and long taste. Easily the best rosé I ever had. But not for sipping in the sunshine. This is serious stuff!
