June 20, 2019 - Mid red colour. Dark cherry, with touch of barnyard and leather nose. Nice balance of fruit and earthy complexity; good mid-palate. Moderately long. Drinking well now.

April 24, 2017 - Weekly tasting group RWP #254: Special wines (@ DJ): In the bouquet small red berry fruits and herbs. On the palate beautiful and ripe red berries, some dark berries as well, some forest impressions and tar. Very juicy with a lot of firm and fresh acidity and good bitterness. Overall a concentrated and full bodied wine. The tannin is slightly drying in the finish..

June 19, 2016 - Dark red with barnyard, leather and dark cherry, almost prune like nose. Still lots of ripe tannins on the palate with intense fruit and acidity to carry the ripe fruit; good mid-palate. Put on a lot of weight over about 2 hours. Long finish and a great future. Needs another 2 years.
