    June 28, 2020 - I think I preferred the 2000. Just entering early maturity imo. Relatively straightforward nebbiolo.

    August 6, 2018 - Similar notes to last time - this bottle tasted like it was just made right at the pop, and after an hour started to show classic nebbiolo characteristics and the secondary and tertiary flavors you'd expect from an 18 yr old wine. Tasty; a little short. Try again in 5-7 yrs I think. Could probably go much longer.

    February 19, 2018 - I used a strainer which collected a large amount of very fine sediment. Decanted and returned to cleaned bottle and tasted over 4 nights - stored under vacuuvin. This was best on day 4 and could have made it at least to day 5. Can tell this was monolithic early on as the tannin are only beginning to soften. Integrated and well balanced at this point with nice fruit albeit an enjoyable but medium finish. Overall this wine is of high quality. One more bottle left and will try to wait another couple years.

    August 4, 2017 - Still in good shape and plenty of backbone left. Opened up nicely over the course of dinner. I'll give this a couple hour decant for the next bottle.

    March 4, 2017 - No notes from last night, but I distinctly remember this still has enough structure to go another 10 years. Enjoyable but not overly complex. Sorry, not very helpful.

    April 19, 2010 - Had 2 bottles with dinner in Vegas. Nicely hitting its stride with a good balance of oak, fruit & tannins. A great wine to pair with Ossobuco. Started a bit astringent but smoothed out in the glass with a nice long finish.
