February 15, 2024 - Rich and rounded mouthfeel. Flavours of butter, apple and a bit of lemon zest. Very nice.

August 11, 2023 - Initially, a sense of unripe fruit. Nose is misleading; more tropical fruits than what the palate presents. Bitter citrus on the aftertaste. Short finish.

June 10, 2023 - Light straw colour, definite citrus flavours over familiar Rhone fruit. Off dry, perhaps a little sweeter than the average, but held in check by the pinch of salinity at the end. This is a *lot* of wine for the money (I paid £7 a bottle en primeur) with depth and power that would suggest something at twice the price. Apparently a blend produced specially for The Wine Society during 2020, so there may not be more of this in the future sadly ...

May 26, 2023 - Light straw colour. White peach nose and flavours with a nice roundness and slight oiliness. Medium light body. Enjoyable food wine.

April 13, 2023 - Golden colour. Nose of spice, citrus and orange pith. In the mouth this has a bag of ripe fruit, citrus and orange. Quite rounded with a sweet edge. There’s a saline quality, the bitter pithy edge and spice makes this a multidimensional wine. On the back, the fruit turns slightly tropical, or maybe I’m mistaking apricot for exoticism. Good length, rich and clean. Very good.

March 31, 2023 - Very "Rhône". Dry but round and savoury. This is an interesting, food friendly little tipple that announces itself with just a bit of saline and citrus, beneath a bevy of ripe orchard fruits. Quite pleasant. From an age old blend of clairette, marsanne and bourboulenc grown on plots just adjacent to Gigondas.
