August 28, 2021 - One of my last bottles from this vintage and how rewarding time has been for this extraordinarily generous CC Riserva. Fully mature with still a dark hue, flavours of ripe cherries as well as haystack and a textbook finish. Rather unknown but serious domaine and for me one of the hidden gems in the Chianti Classico appellation. Fine pairing with a rich and unctuous lasagna alla Bolognese. This will last a couple of years on its current plateau of maturity if well stored.

April 25, 2016 - Weekly tasting group #211; A fully blind test. (@ My place): Cherries and dark berries in the bouquet. On the palate sweet spices, earth, some dust, firm but good acidity and tannin with still a pleasant bite. The wine is completely ready now, but there is no hurry. This was my last bottle and that is ok.

June 29, 2015 - Weekly tasting group #173; A fully blind test. (@ My place): Red color still with a slightly garnet rim. In the bouquet still cherries, some herbs and earth. On the palate cherries and red berries, a firm amount of good acidity, some noticeable bitterness and still slightly sticky and drying tannin in the finish. Really nice wine, ready now, but also still a few years of future ahead.

April 13, 2014 - see below, still nice red (no hint of brown) colour.
Reminds me also of nice ripe cabernets.
Got this at a cellar clearance, love it.
