February 28, 2015 - Cassis and bramble, with a hint of herbal and blood, chocolate. Coating the mouth with more chocolate and fruit, very fine tannins, still some years ahead.

July 9, 2013 - the brown-ish red tones of this wine was no indication of just how smooth it was - soft, gentle, perfect for a cold night and warm beef stew!

September 26, 2008 - Australian 1998s Dinner (Crown Wine Cellars, Hong Kong): Deep crimson translucent colour. The nose is more reticent/closed than its Brookman sibling but improved with time with spicy and blackcurrant notes. A really wow! rich palate which is an elegant and feminine balance of velvet and acidity. Very long length with lots of "in your head" sensations. Excellent. The best Cabernet Sauvignon of the night despite the impressive company.

October 30, 2007 - Started off great, with expansive aromas and heady nose. Initial blasts of euch along with structured fruit and nicely balanced wine. Great match with some thick Lamb chops, and the bottle didn't last long. After 3 hrs or so, wine had dissipated the stronger (and more interesting) euch and other spice, and became more simple...My guess is that the wine is at/near peak, and we caught it on the apex or slightly beyond. Uncork and enjoy - nice wine while it lasts...

November 18, 2006 - Slightly corked. I still wouldnt make an effort to buy again even at $15. Of course its impossible to say due to the slight corkage, but I still didnt see the fruit here to merit much of a score really. $15 is probably about right for a good bottle.
