    September 12, 2020 - Ljusgul färg med fin mousse och små bubblor.
    Doftar lite citrus, lite oxiderade toner, men väldigt frisk. Liljekonvalj och vårblommor
    Extrem stor och rund i munnen med härlig syra och röda äpplen. Extremt lång eftersmak som växer i munnen. Efter mer tid i glaset kommer mer honung och persika. Riktigt gott!

    July 18, 2020 - From magnum. Whoa! This is the best Krug I've had in a good long while. I was worried that it would be too sherried but it was just the opposite, extremely fresh and lively. Notes of herbal tea like chamomile and toast with base notes of ripe plum skin. What really grabs is the sense of mouth watering acidity and freshness. I'm probably still more of a "grower" Champagne person at this point, but this was very, very good.

    May 22, 2020 - A good showing but not really meeting the (high) expectations. Starting very tight but opening up after 40 min in the glass with notes of mushrooms, gunpowder citrus. Never really bloomed fully though and I think I'd actually prefer a GC to this particular bottle.

    April 29, 2020 - Zoom tasting with Oliver Krug. This has fattened up and begun to show some some classic Krug oxy qualities. Good depth and fine tiny bubbles. Has become more complex and oily in texture. Lovely place, but gone is the sharp incense lean citrus edge and now more complex and nuanced and begs to be sipped versus quickly draining.

    April 29, 2020 - In the pantheon of great vintage Krug, this vintage is not one of them. It’s small in scale, modestly endowed. Pale at first, with air it turns light gold. Bubbles are slightly larger than usual, mousse is modestly persistent. Slightly oxidative. Strong acidity but somehow not fresh. Medium weight. Okay for champagne, unexciting for Krug.
