Community Tasting Notes 3

September 20, 2015 - Chinese 5 spice, pomegranate, black cherry, and a little bit of walnut husk/old spice cologne on the nose. Strong acidity and perfectly dusty tannins on the palate. A little bit of charred orange rind on the finish.

Basically, I'm really glad I didn't pop this until now.

July 9, 2012 - Good wine but not what I want in a burg. Really fruit forward and seems more like a CA Pinot. I like CA pinots buy not when I'm buying burgs.

September 13, 2008 - Burgundy (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had loads of smoke and meat, plus some cherry, spice, and oak. The palate was a bit tannic, and had cherry, meat, and spice.
