November 11, 2019 - Tertiary characteristics made of of prune, garrigue and dates. Almost port like. Still good but the last bottle had everything peaking at the right time. Interesting but the better days were in the rear view mirror.

May 29, 2019 - Delicious with barbecue ribs. Mature Shiraz with concentrated fruit, soft tannin, spice and noticeable acidic component. This may continue to evolve but was my last bottle.

April 12, 2018 - A terrific wine. Well integrated, but with terrific intensity. Less over the top than many typical Aussie Shiraz. One of my favorites lately. Even at this age, has an easy 3-5 years of solid drinking

April 2, 2018 - Great nose. Dense purple, almost black color. Right now it has good balance and the fruit and tannins are in harmony. The only flaw is the wine is a little over ripe with some prunish flavors but it has the stuffing to pull it off. Not elegant but not as brutish as some Aussi shiraz. Fun, hedonistic drink. Would drink up now because it needs the tannins to balance out the over ripe fruit.

August 21, 2017 - Deep purple in color. Blue and black fruits hold on with a touch licorice and underbrush hold hands. This wine has finally shredded some of its exuberancCe. Rich texture without being over the top. Great example of the old style Shiraz from down under.
