September 15, 2021 - What I said in '18 about another bottles holds true for this one, which was decanted an hour before serving: complex nose of blackberry, cassis, root beer and herbs, silky mouthfeel but still has some tannins. One of Washington's greatest reds, drinking beautifully.

September 9, 2018 - An extraordinary wine. Youthful, dense purple with no bricking at the rim. Complex nose of blackberry, cassis, root beer and herbs, silky mouthfeel but still has some tannins and much more life ahead. Handily beat a 100 pt Parker Quilceda Creek for WOTN.
