March 28, 2020 - Still going strong. Came out of the bottle very assertively, then found it's balance. Elegant. Red fruit and bright acidity, even now. Got muted pretty quickly, though.

June 22, 2015 - purchased 8 years ago from a private tasting with the winemaker Steve this bottle was a hit. It paired wonderfully with a rustic slow simmered pork in a tomato sauce. It seemed to have a long life still ahead. Initial fruit was subdued but secondary flavors are only barely beginning to show. Great stuff

February 22, 2015 - still alive n well. Nice subtle feminine qualities on nose n palate. Light ruby color. Soft tannins gave good structure. Handled modern italian fare well. Drink nor hold short term.

September 4, 2014 - Chicago Italian Lovers round 12- 04 Nebbiolo Blind (Domaine Wine Storage, Chicago IL): I wasn't sure what to make of this. It felt like there was some VA on the nose and the palate was a bit wonky too unfortunetly.

June 21, 2012 - Enjoyed over 2 hours after ½ or air. Definitely one of the more aromatically complex wines I’ve enjoyed in a while, as the nose changed throughout the 2+ hours. Initially it showed sangiovese-type notes of tart red fruit and leather, followed by Asian spice, incense and dark berry notes and then on to tar and rose notes, coupled with dark fruit and licorice. Vibrant acidity and tannin made this wine better with food and really showed that it has several years of life left.
