June 12, 2019 - Mature. A little musty at first but that blows off with some air. Soft and earthy, a little tart.
January 29, 2011 - I'm not sure whether this is corked or I just don't care for it. Fusty and musty.
July 11, 2009 - A bit simple, somewhat generic (but definitely Pinot Noir), perhaps a little short, and extremely delicate. This merits a solid "good," but not much more than that, I think. Expensive, for what it is. Kind of a high class, quality picnic (or mid-week) wine is how I might characterize it.
January 24, 2009 - Dark garnet ruby in the glass.
A nose of cherries and red currants. Some nice earthy backing. A whiff of cranberry.
The tannins and acidity are so well integrated. This is just in the right place. Wonderfully smooth flavors of earthy red fruits.
So food friendly. WOTN.
December 10, 2008 - First concern was a flaw, but it blew off the swampiness after 20 minutes.
More oak toasted nuts, some kind of kerosene to the nose.

January 24, 2008 - To me, this is a quintessential red Burgundy. It has classic red pinot fruit, which to me is that candied strawberry flavor. It is balanced, has good acidity, and finishes surprisingly long. I am finishing a bottle now that went beautifully with a grilled salmon dinner. Good stuff.
June 16, 2007 - Unfortunately the other review that pegged this as a 71 was too generous. Avoid this wine. Undrinkable. If I hadn't seen the other review I'd have assumed mine was tainted. Maybe it got fired on its way to the US. Tasted like apple vinegar... or cidre meets Boone Farm... or Calvados goes Welch? Undrinkable.
November 24, 2004 - Horrible! Thin, sour & void of anything favorable to say about it. Must have been an oxidized bottle, nobody sells anything this bad & stays in business.
