  December 21, 2023 - Pretty wine, nice subtlety. I get barnyard on the nose, but not nearly as much green pepper as others have noted. More cherry and tobacco and a whiff of oak. The palate is silky smooth with cherry, ricola, dr. pepper, and loads else. Very complete and seamless, 11% abv, I mistook it for burgundy when tasting it blind. I think there’s upside in further cellaring but it’s so good now.

  March 18, 2023 - Color: youthful medium ruby
  Nose: tons of green belpepper. Behind that, charming violet and blackberry, with some grilled herbs as well
  Palate: medium-high acidity, medium-high tannins that are mainly on the fore of the tongue, definitely youthful. It confirms the nose and adds olive wood and dark plum
  Finish: medium
  
  Youthful but already very giving I'd you don't mind the tannins, which i don't. There is an unmistakable ever-changing quality here which is the hallmark of a great wine. I think this needs a few more years in cellar to mature, there's plenty of structure to hold. But it's already very good. I'd recommend 30 mins decant after 30 mins of fridge.
