  November 28, 2021 - Obtained at auction because I wanted the other bottles in the lot, but wow this was a nice surprise. Beautiful nose floral and red fruit, drinking well and plenty of fruit and some tertiaries on the palate at Pnp. Really nice aged Cali cab. I know nothing about this vs the regular Arrowood bottling, I had assumed it was meant to be more entry level, but can’t believe how good it is!

  Aroma/Bouquet: Day 1 Started opening up after 1 1/2 hours. Intense dark berry. Day 2: Concentrated lively blackberry with some vanilla. Day 3 Some green pepper?
  Flavor: Day 1 Initial intense blackberry and cassis with sweet, gently coating tannins. 35-40 second finish with bright red cherry and raspberry fruit with underlying vanilla
  Complexity/Balance: Plenty of acidity, fruit and gently tannins with a lush mouthfeel.
  Overall Impression: Using a vaccuum stopper it was at it's best on days 2 and 3 but still fine on day 4.
  Cellaring Potential: 5-10 years?

  July 5, 2002 - Wine House: Very fruity, dark berry, blackberries; some earth, tabacco; med big body, average to big t’s, nice fin., Classic-cant’ go wrong, but nothing special.
