October 29, 2023 - Our 7th bottle for Scarlet's 7th birthday. Progressing nicely, rich dark fruits in the nose with licorice, chocolate and hints of earthiness. Blackberries, black cherries and black currants in the flavor. Showing more complexity, well balanced, full bodied, and a long lingering finish.

August 19, 2023 - Full bodied with plenty of black and blue fruit and graphite on the palate. Some secondary notes of white pepper, mocha and tobacco. High percentage (94%) Cabernet from two specific plots in the Lede Vineyards. Really big but balanced and drinking well with grippy tannins. This will hold up for another 10 years at least.

April 17, 2023 - Garnett color, black cherry, currant and raspberry nose. Dark Cherry, plum flavors that hang on in the long finish. A great wine.

October 30, 2022 - Drank our 6th bottle for Scarlet's 6th birthday. Like last year, the wine continues to show incremental improvement, with more complexity and roundness. Still lots of concentrated black and blue fruits in the nose and flavor with chocolate, licorice and leather. Very well balanced, full bodied, and a long lingering finish.
