April 17, 2017 - I'm not a big fan of sweet wines but enjoyed a bit of this. Deep honey backbone with apricot, vanilla, and a touch of lemon. Better slightly cooler than very cold.

March 3, 2012 - Rating is for its current state as it's not yet in its prime ... Amazing potential but needs 5-10 more years to reach it

January 20, 2012 - Honey and a little salt on the nose. Medium to full mouthfeel, creme brulee, and loads of honey. Reasonable acidity. A little too sugary for me. Got better over the course of the evening.

December 9, 2006 - Dinner at Bistro Bardot ('98 Pegau Reservee & '01 Wegeler Geisenheimer Rothenberg Eiswein) (Monterrey, Mexico): Had at Bistro Bardot with my mom, sister and girfriend.

Very pale straw color. Much lighter than the 2000 Zind Humbrecht Pinot Gris Clos Jebsal that we drank last night. This is an elegant eiswein. The nose is somewhat restrained and gives apple and peach. Medium to full body with a great texture and nice acidity, this is not as great as last night's Z-H bomb.
