February 29, 2024 - A really impressive and intriguing wine. A complex blend of SEVEN (!) varietal? Hmmm you'd never know.
Really seamless and juicy with dark lush fruits. All in perfect harmony & balance.
Drink now and over the next few years for the enjoyment of this wine in it's vibrant & energized stage.

December 25, 2023 - Deep ruby in color. On first pour, beautiful nose of cedar, tobacco, red fruits, earth. Upon first taste, nice balance of fruit and cedar/tobacco, with grippy tannins. Two hour decant may have been a bit too long, but great with a prime rib.

April 1, 2023 - Tasting new vintage of Caiarossa and it looks like they are back again with a drop of Alicante and still pressing hard with abundant blend of 26% Syrah, 24% CF, 23% Merlot, 14% CS, 7% PV, 4% Sangiovese and 2% Alicante. Aged 14 months in FR oak, 30% new and 6 months in concrete. Pronounced fresh aroma of cassis, black cherries, lavender, blackberries, plums, smoke, hints of green pepper. Medium body, fresh and elegant, layered with fruity flavours along hints of mocha, tobacco and spice. Solid tannic structure.
