April 13, 2009 - This 65% Merlot, 35% Cab Franc, 5% Cab Sav is pure and fruitfull on the nose offering nicely integrated wood with hints of licorice and herbs. In the mouth it offers a velvety smooth texture with nicely integrated tannins. Still a bit mouthdrying, but probably at its plateu of maturity right now and to be drunk over the next 1-3 years.
A short mid palette and finish prevented this wine from reaching higher scores, but all in all a very impressive and delightful tasting experience.
