  November 2, 2022 - This 50/50 Cabernet/Sangiovese blend opens with a very Cabernet-dominant note of currant and plum on the nose, followed by the Sangiovese’s lovely bouquet of floral smells; dried roses and violets. The aromas jump from the glass and are smooth and even. In the mouth this wine is very full bodied, coating the tongue with velvety dark cherry, plum and cola, silky hints of vanilla, cocoa powder and cedar. The tannins come alive on the finish, not overwhelming but present and pleasantly drying, accompanied by the faintest bit of black pepper. This wine has more years of development ahead of it in your cellar (5 to 10 years). Or enjoy it now with well-herbed roasted meats and veggies.
