  April 15, 2023 - Family Blind Cabernet Tasting (The homestead): Part of a blind Cabernet Sauvignon tasting (8 bottles) with some family members.
  Wine #2.
  Some prominent oak hits you first, then not much else except a kind of anonymous and unremarkable red wine experience. Nothing at all wrong with this...it was just kind of...anonymous tasting. I mean, there's decent Cab fruit, and pretty good balancing acidity, but it just seemed a little flat. More than just decent for the price point ($10), but did not stand out in this tasting.
  
  I had this in 7th place, the others were all right around there as well.

  December 20, 2022 - A nose of some dark fruit and spice, garnet in color. A medium bodied red, with black fruits, herbs, coffee and spice on finish. A good midweek and QPR wine. www.winelx.com
