January 5, 2014 - Lots of strawberry flavors but lacked some depth and texture.

September 22, 2012 - Medium bodied and enjoyable but clearly on its way to being done. Still carries the delightful pinot funk on the nose.

September 15, 2012 - Sorry this is my last bottle and wish I would have purchased more. Great body, nice bit of spice and great finish. Paired great with a grilled pork tenderloin with maple, peach, ancho chile glaze.

September 9, 2011 - Nice! Medium-bodied and fruity, and mellower than the Pinots from Carneros that we often drink. Cherries and a dash of allspice made this an excellent choice for tonight!

February 10, 2009 - fresh strawberries and dried cranberries on the nose and attack. good structure. Has a very slight bitterness late on the finish (my wife doesn't agree with me on that) that keeps me from putting this closer to the 90 pt range. definitely a good wine

November 29, 2007 - French Bakery Sonoma Pinot Noir BYO Dinner (The French Bakery, Kane Concourse, Bay Harbor Islands, FL): Deirdre & Richard's wine. Similar to the RRV, saccharine. Again Deirdre indicated it had lost something in transit. Perhaps the Bakery was a bit too warm for the wines?

November 6, 2007 - Finally cracked into one of the three bottles sent by DeLoach as a wine club member. We were fans of the 2005 Green Valley Pinot Noir (long gone now) and were amazed to discover this offering, so young, was already so complex and truly delicious. The nose is spectacular and highly floral. On the palate are exceptionally balanced tasts of leather and earth, and a burst of red fruits of strawberry, cherry and raspberry. Just the lightest touch of minerality that we adore. Their newest pinot noir is so very lush! We can't wait to see how the remaining two bottles age alongside the additional three (order limit) now on their way, too. Outstanding and highly recommended to sincere fans of pinot noir!
