December 4, 2021 - Çà faisait presque cinq ans que je ne l'avais goûté, c'est de mieux en mieux il me semble. Il fait encore jeune, mais se goûte au top, sans arômes tertiaires ni marqueurs bordelais, on aurait pu partir sur une belle syrah. Pas d'élevage notable, c'est fondu, mais il dispose d'une belle réserve d'énergie. Un grand vin pour moi, la dernière dans 10 ans !
June 19, 2020 - My least favorite of the ‘02 trilogy this evening. The most intensely mineral (a good thing) but showed a bit of overripe character and falls short in the depth department. Superficial. A touch of green on the finish. The nose is promising but in the end the wine just does not deliver. (86)

aromatic s varied but started typicsl Bordeaux- cedar earth. Palate had resolved tannin but was not lacking body and there was a cool cherry flavor but it evolved. At times there was a capsicum or poblano smell and the fruit became more concetrated

February 5, 2017 - Vraiment excellent. La robe montre à peine quelques traces d'évolution. Le nez est classieux, notes balsamiques, secondaires. La bouche montre encore une vraie énergie, le vin a beaucoup de vie, et plein de temps devant lui, même s'il se boit avec énormément de plaisir en ce moment. Un grand vin.
March 8, 2016 - Very pleasant touch of raspberry an cherry with mostly resolved tannin. I did not find it aromatially complex but still fun to drink and went great with a dish of lentils and chicken - I would rate this as very good but not excellent
January 25, 2016 - Have had this wine on several occasions and the last 2 bottles have been excellent. Double decanted about 2 hours before serving and served with a grilled NY strip prime steak. Both the steak and wine were excellent with the wine showing cedar, cassis, and touch of tar with a good mid-range and virtually resolved tannins. I think this wine is at or near its peak and should be drunk within the next few years.
December 28, 2014 - Xmas in Wellfleet. Modern style for sure but the fruit was delicious and the balance good. Might taste more like Bordeaux in the future, but would drink now for the fruit.
July 14, 2014 - Double decanted this wine about an hour before serving and served with spice rubbed NY strip steak on the grill. Lovely nose of cassis and cedar which continued into the initial flavors, along with a touch of leather and spice. Good mid-range and finish. This is the best bottle of this wine I have had out of the last 3.
June 29, 2014 - With K and G. Nose better than palate, but a good wine. Hard to know if time will improve it or just reduce the fruit, but I'll wait 2 years for the next bottle.
May 27, 2014 - Very. Very. Classic. Jumped out of the bottle, then calmed down. Raspberry, good plump merlot, but not fat. Great bottle
