Community Tasting Notes 1

February 20, 2008 - The appearnce of this wine is exactly what one would expect from this blend. A lovely dark opaque purple. Somewhat restrained on the nose, but detected most black fruits. I still have a ways to go in the nose department.
Tannic upon opening, but rounded out nicely on the second day with just enough tannis remaining to keep it interesting. Big fruit flavors, black cherry and plum. Well balance overall with a little residual alcohol on a nice long finish.
    Nice wine would drink again.
