August 9, 2015 - First two glasses were wonderful. Last two so-so.
November 11, 2012 - Oxidized and murky orange in color, I found the wine to be lithe and gorgeous in a fine boned, exotic kind of way. It requires time in the glass and aggressive air. But with that, high toned notes of cardamom, cinnamon stick, orange marmalade, baked apple, lavender and perfumed oleander swirl from the glass. A bit flat on the palate but in no way dead. More mulling spices and apple. Mineral finish. I loved it.
January 30, 2012 - - Yellow gold color - My numerical might be off for others, but this wine hits me perfectly. Elegant wine in the oxidizedish style. Enjoyed with and without food. Honey and blood orange. Clean finish, much richer on day 2 closer to room temp, but fine with a white wine chill too.
April 11, 2011 - Interesting wine. Orange, slightly oxidized. Better on its own than with food (or at least what I was eating). Can't say I would get it again, but it's a good effort and I'm glad to have tried something unusual. Never had the vitovska grape before. Would recommend.
March 26, 2011 - More masculine, tannic style. Robust and full, with a hard front and characteristic melon and floral notes. May benefit from some time.
March 26, 2011 - Lovely, lovely. Perfume notes, exotic spices. Great texture of old velvet. Balanced and seamless. Just a beautiful wine.
July 11, 2010 - Lesser Italian White Varietals (Duchman Family Winery Driftwood, Texas): This was a rich and slightly oxidized wine that most of us enjoyed. An exotic wine, it changed a bit every few minutes. Some oak on the nose, with a tobacco, ashtray, mineral character for some, it was a bit muted (yet unctuous) but developed dessicated orange and almond, dried apple, butter pastry, and old fruit notes. We liked it.

February 2, 2010 - Fascinating wine. Cloudy golden hue. Honey, melon on the attack, mysterious mid-palette, long finish. Good acid. Held up well to lasanga, suprisingly. Loved it. Very unusual.
August 3, 2009 - Red wine mouthfeel and finish.....but orange in color. Great stuff.
