November 8, 2009 - Interesting comparison horizontal tasting of three 27 years old cabernets. Dark color and medium bodied, there remained subdued fruits of black berry and black cherry with tone of cedar on a modest tannin finish. This showed better than the Cru Bourgeois Haut Medoc '82, Chateau Citran - http://cellartracker.com/w?129293 and the modest Napa cab Rutherford Hill http://cellartracker.com/w?541988 which tasted remarkably similar in comparison tasting where this Sonoma cab held more fruit and color.
