March 18, 2024 - Tasty, fresh wine that has a different sensation of Grenache than a typical Cotes du Rhone. Perhaps a little pricey for a weekday wine to grab ($33), but then wine has gone up in price. However, this is a refreshing, lighter-bodied Southern Rhone wine that would fit any occasion.
February 29, 2024 - Super fruity but not over the top. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it with a chill on it. That juicy red and blue berry fruit still comes through but it's sleeker and smoother. Leans sweet, but again, that works for it when the temp is lower.
October 16, 2023 - PNP into Grassl Liberte glass (“Flower” day): Pale purplish ruby to the eyes.
Hints of reduction upfront that quickly blew off. Clear Carbonic maceration influence with purplish cherry and earthy floral notes.
Medium acidity. Silky tannins. Clean finish.
93 points.
October 15, 2023 - Lovely cdr. Intuitively good with intensive fruity nose. Raisin all over the air as the name suggests. Took an hour to take away the brett and after that enjoyed for 5 hours. Quite acidic for grenache, and shows the fruit itself with no hiding or cheap trick. Not complicated and enjoyable wine.
June 26, 2023 - a good grenache for summer drinking. Juicy, fresh, drinkability at its best
June 25, 2023 - Once again a touch "lively" on first opening, but with air this settles down and falls into place. Gouleyant is the word for this wine...
May 17, 2023 - Harsh and a tiny edge of spritz on opening. Ran through an aerating decanter and let rest 30 minutes and we're back to Gramenon Grenache magic. Nothing too complicated, just delicious.
April 5, 2023 - Juicy, fresh, savory, plenty of fruit and some of that funky in a light body wine. Enjoyed it very much, Good QPR.
February 13, 2023 - Dark purple coloured grenache. Bright, sickly sweet fruit nose, slightly rough alcohol. Certainly lots of fruit on the palate, but a bit raw and angular. Fine as far as it goes, but not great really
November 8, 2022 - Bright rich color. Dusty cherry nose. Palate dominated by nice acidity, dusty tannins and a mouthful of delicious Grenache fruit. Absolutely guzzle-able.
