December 9, 2008 - I wish I drank this earlier. Not sure if it was improperly stored or just no longer had character.
June 16, 2008 - Good nose. Full of fruit. Tannins are very mild. Seems to be fading. Not bad on the palate but not much complexity.
December 26, 2005 - An interesting choice with prime rib from a unchilled closet cellar, this was surprisingly alive and showed some interesting aged character, no tannins left to speak of. Good+.
June 20, 2005 - Last bottle, finally. Loved the 99 as an everyday wine, bought a case of the 2000, what a disapointment. All exhibited a green, vegatative quality. This one had a nice bottle age character, but never lost that vegatative quality. It did make a nice beef stew.
November 1, 2003 - Very fruity; crushed raspberries and strawberries; dark color. Yum.
January 13, 2003 - This wine completely lacked in character compared to some of the better wines I have tasted from this Sonoma producer. Not much nose at all, and quite tart for a Zinfandel.
May 29, 2002 - Winery: Big pepper, very spicey, bell peppers.
