April 22, 2022 - From magnum. Nice nose of apples, citrus, toast, minerals, and a bit of butter. Plush feel on the palate with nice acidity providing balance and notes of orchard fruit and citrus. Good finish. Great example of 20 year old white Burgundy!
November 30, 2019 - Very sad, totally oxidized
May 24, 2018 - Unfortunately very oxidised
May 5, 2018 - Clear, golden hue in decanter and dark straw in glass. Served at slightly above 55 degrees. With dinner at Melisse. Beautiful nose of cloves, dried apricot, orange rind. Med + body and still had lively acidity. Minerality, orange rind, minimal oak, and went beautiful with caviar and halibut. Wish I had more! Drink now.
September 10, 2017 - 11th of 12, pnp, perfect cork and level, right back on form with the balance and zip lacking in the weightier Montrachet two nights earlier! F+ (18).
June 26, 2017 - 10th of 12, pnp, perfect cork and level, darker, less expressive and lacking balancing acidity and freshness, a bit clumsy and tired, not obviously flawed, so a bit odd given quality of previous bottles, drink up. VG+ (16.5) even so!
May 26, 2016 - 9th of 12, pnp, perfect cork and level, not quite as vibrant as 2 years ago but little changed from last July's note. F+ (18).
April 17, 2016 - Too much oak for the wine.
July 12, 2015 - 7th of 12 and right back on form pipping a fine Sauzet Combettes 99, nice lemon zing cutting chalky fruit, energetic and very long. Fine plus (18/20).
June 21, 2015 - 6th of 12 CORKED....grrrr!
