January 7, 2012 - This is probably the first bottle of CA wine I have drunk that took me back to France. Smokey taste, nice deep color with blackberry oak and a little peppery. The vineyard is fantastic and the wines IMO are a little under rated probably based on the act they gave gone a tad over the top wi sculptures and the Paso crowd hate Napa so much that this might remind them a little of selling out. Anyhow, paired with the hot tub this wine was a real treat..
