December 8, 2020 - A dark yet sweet nose of blackberry, potpourri, caramel and herbal notes that lead to a rich, long, black cherry and tobacco leaf flavored palate that maintains good freshness on the finish.

October 10, 2020 - Dark red; slightly sharp tobacco nose; light spices, bit of tobacco, some tannins, a bit tart; ok, but not typical standard

May 9, 2020 - Deep purple. Blackberry, leather and buttermilk. Tannins and acidity. Long finish. Great wine.

April 17, 2020 - Amazingly still young and incredibly rich and vibrant. Could have really used a longer decant.

February 18, 2020 - 'No Masks' Hong Kong Dinner (Table, 8th Floor, The Pemberton, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong): Decanted for several hours before serving. Still purple-red young colour. Nose is gosh... deep, mesmerising 'Alice down the rabbit hole' black fruit. Palate is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous pure linearity but still really tightly coiled. All dark 'black slab' intensely concentrated but pure black and red pastilled fruit at the moment and a graphite-stiff but not overly tannic backbone. Mesmeric length and resonance but in a very muted tone. This is really great winemaking, especially for a 'second' wine. It really needs another 5-10 years to unfurl but I happen to love this very linear and pure style just the way it is. Oh, wow! 95+
