    November 13, 2023 - A very pleasurable wine that has a beautiful floral aroma. On the palate the very first thing is crushed dark fruit (blueberries, blackberries, etc.) followed by an intense mineral character. This wine is certainly not incredibly complex but its freshness pairs well with heavier dishes. I enjoyed with duck legs confit. This should drink well for another 5-8 years but more complex vintages will probably drink well for up to two decades. Overall: 90

    August 10, 2023 - Tasted this on 2 successive evenings from Coravin, then opened and decanted on the 3rd. Fairly typical style, perhaps a bit softer than usual, immediately accessible and very good.

    July 13, 2023 - Un peu fermé à l'ouverture mais söuvre apres 30-40 min en carafe. Au nez, violettes africaines, hibiscus et canelle. Tannin peu présent et acidité faible mais frais et excellent. Dur à dire s'il s'améliora avec le temps mais délicieux en ce moment.

    July 12, 2023 - PnP. Nasty smell and taste of yogurt at first. Took a few minutes to dissipate or maybe I just got used to it.

    It actually has a nice silky texture. Nice red fruits. Almost no tannins. Medium finish.

    I got turned off by the first sip or so, but it got better after 5-10 minutes or so.

    April 23, 2023 - On nose: tomato plant, hybiscus florals,tart vine berries.
    On palate: all above flavours vibrant and alive, with firm acidity, on a sleek , youthful body.....notes of faint cinnamon and nutmeg appear intermittenly,along with rhubarb and fennel....this wine sees no oak apparently, completely finished in steel vats.
    100% Cabernet Franc , and amazingly ready to drink at two years of age, after a 2 hour decant.
    Made from vines between 10- 80 years old.
    Went well with Pasta Puttanesca tonight.
    Will buy more.

    June 17, 2022 - Loire trip 2022; 6/15/2022-6/19/2022 (Loire, France): [At Domaine Guiberteau] Very expressive and very fruity, almost maceration semi-carbonique like. Red fruit driven (red cherry, raspberry). Medium acidity, medium- tannins, medium+ finish. Destemmed, 3-4 days cold maceration, 6 months stainless steel
