August 13, 2017 - Agree with previous comment. Lacks acidity, a bit blurry. Drink up.

May 7, 2009 - Colour starting to shift from a deep red to a more rust red

The nose changed character as thewine had been opened, starting off with a pure fruit (redplums) with some tobacco, mid time went for a newly baked bread and eucalytus to finish off as dark cherries and almost burnt bread directly from the oven.

On the palate it was heavy on the red/black fruits, the plum compote came up strong. Still much tannins, quitea lot of heat from the14.4% alcholhol. The acidity was lacking a bit and did bring the total score down massively. Could have been such a nice wine.
