March 20, 2024 - Okay, but really nothing special. (At dinner, with good company.)

October 5, 2023 - Kind of agree with other reviews... Nice enough, but not really super exciting -- especially for the high $20s price.

August 24, 2023 - Langhe Nebbiolo and Barolo: Violet, balsamic vinegar and rose hip. High acidity and lots of tannins. Sour and quite watery.

July 25, 2023 - First Nebbiolo but not the last. Feels like a nice introduction, easy to like and you get a feeling for the characteristics even though it's on a basic level.

Split the bottle over two days but no real difference.
Pale ruby and pretty translucent in colour.
Short aroma of cranberries and sour cherries coupled with some faint leather.
In the taste there are more sour red fruit and pretty high acidity. A whiff of warm spices, mainly vanilla and cardamon comes through. Finishes with fine but grippy tannins that lingers.

May 15, 2023 - Gambero Rosso Tasting (Doltone House, Sydney): Clean, cherry, sweet spice, little dried herbs. Juicy, fleshy, slightly sour cherry, drying tannic burr persists long, simple, balanced, slight non-intrusive alcohol warmth on the finish. Okay.
