  October 1, 2015 - Agree with the previous review. Seems past it. Bought from reliable retailer near mariner in Boston MA, so storage not to blame. Too many noticeable bitter, herbal notes - perhaps because of faded fruit. Colour not as previously described indicating that it may have fallen off the age cliff. Not off, just not as good as expected. Will not buy this vintage again. 2010 released, so will try that instead.

  October 7, 2013 - Fantastic. Decanted an hour and when I was pouring into the decanter I thought it was thick, purple oil. This is a distinct, big wine. Not jammy and not over-the-top fruit, just big, and luscious. Aromas of dark, black cherries or berries, oak, forest floor, leather. This is drinking fantastically now, well integrated tannins, a smooth, silky, elegant wine.
