January 9, 2024 - With pizza: Again, a very effective party wine, and a good pizza wine. Forwardly fruity, with some spice, moderate acidity -- not a profound wine, but fun to drink.

December 22, 2023 - An aroma that develops beautifully as the glass opens up. I wrote down, in order, black cherries, blackberries, raspberry jam, mocha, dust, prune, marker, leather, pipe tobacco, rhubarb pie, rye whiskey, violet, black licorice. Sure, it’s big and full-bodied, and has a touch of jamminess, but it’s beautifully rustic too. This is so rich, smooth, and easy to drink that it makes me wonder why Susumaniello isn’t better known. Your guests will love this.

August 28, 2023 - Ripe, round, easy drinking red. Blackcurrant and ripe cherry on the nose. Soft, round tannins. A bit of a fruit bomb and lacking in dimensionality, but nonetheless a good QPR.

June 27, 2023 - Black with a deep ruby rim. Blueberry and brioche on the nose. Full bodied with lots of dark fruit compote on the palate. Still very primary.
