  May 28, 2019 - Nice to have some Riesling - pretty nose of classic Austrian Riesling: bright orchard fruits, shimmering, good minerality and some florals, some honey as well. The palate starts off nice and similar to the nose, but the honey and richness keep coming on and the wine gets a bit heavy and thick. Definitely the vintage. Some similarities to a Hirtzberger but those wines usually have a burning energy underneath that keep them more lively. Good but just that. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 14.5/20.

  January 28, 2016 - Great white wine and great riesling, excellent balance between fruit and sweetness but in general I do not think it evolves much with time (especillay when drunk next to a much younger vintage). The drinking window of these super-rieslings is either very long or I never had one in a mature state...
