May 30, 2015 - Opened this one a bit late, so it looked crimson with a some oranging visible on the swirl. The legs are long and slow. There was a light sediment in the bottle. It had a strong smell like pine, a bit of smelly socks and a very distinct chocolate bit. The taste has some blackberry, blueberry and chocolate. The body is light, easy to drink and it had an interesting lack of alcohol to the taste. Narrow. Tannins on the finish. I wish I had drank this one year earlier, because I think this is actually a very interesting wine. Not fruity.

January 23, 2013 - Complimented our salad and cheese meal very nicely. Fruity and medium bodied, good finish.

June 4, 2012 - This bottle had a weird secondary fermentation going on. Not good.

January 28, 2012 - Still rough, young tasting and rustic. Not something I would pick to drink tonight. Would require food to take the edge off. Good example of why it can be hard to find a tasty Tempranillo unless you are know what you are buying. Admittedly, this is a sub $10 bottle, but life is too short not to enjoy your wine.

(Panarroz Jumilla) #1; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-like an overheated fan motor; smoky/fire action; TASTE-bacon bits component; some nice dark cherries & blueberries; little austere & off-balance; one dimensional; some back end tannins; serious wine, but many won't like; RP-90; GV-88
