  October 2, 2008 - Deep ruby red. Quite closed when first decanted with very subdued fruit, mostly acid and tannins. Later it opened up but fruit still lurked in the background. Not a bad wine for less than $10 a bottle.

  January 4, 2008 - Medium ruby color, smoke and cherries on the nose. Medium bodied. Another nice, fruit forward garnacha from campo de borja. Not as much berry fruit as a Tres Picos, but well balanced, not overly tannic, a little smoke profile. $6.99/bottle? I'll buy loads of it.
