October 21, 2011 - - Crimsom color. It's somewhat balanced with a light/medium body. Narrow texture with a short finish.

September 30, 2009 - Pretty good and ready to go with a decent decant or vinturi. Better the second day. Nice finish.

July 7, 2008 - Tobacco, coffee and leather on the nose when first opened. Red cherry and bell pepper on the tongue, with a very medium to long finish that stays in the front part of my mouth. This has mellowed immensely since I tasted it at the winery in August 2007. Excellent with a basic red sauce and pasta!

January 8, 2008 - Quite fruit forward - likely drank a bit early. Not as complex as I remembered it, but overall a good solid sangiovese and good for the price
