December 9, 2021 - (at Vito's - Baltimore) This was pretty darn terrific. Mature, old style Pommard that has aged beautifully. When opened at 3 PM, it smelled maderdized - very glad I let it sit. By 7:30 PM, it was signing. Brick/ruby with a mature rim. Gorgeous nose of red fruit, soy, cough syrup, and mint. Lovely palate - sweet, long, earthy and mineral. A great time to drink. (95)

July 12, 2014 - This has classic 1990 disease... Overripe and simply stewy. Not up to the usual standards from this producer. (Squam)

November 3, 2013 - Very good for the vintage, vigorous, great acidity, a little rustic. Nothing of the flabbiness of some 90's. Will still improve over a few years.

December 27, 2012 - 92 pts was a night two score, nose was oaky on night one and more reserved on night two (tho with some fruit arriving), palate was similar on each night with great high acid / tart red fruits (cherry but also strawberry - which i love) on night two, also had just a touch of those great gritty/dusty tannin texture on night two as well, great wine on night two, perhaps wait five more years?

September 6, 2012 - Drank very well. Lots of fruit and elegance on the palate. Would drink this wine up in the next couple of years.
