February 4, 2024 - Color- Typical Kistler hazy gold
Nose- apricot, peach and stone
Palate- full, elegant mouthfeel. Unctuous, with balanced acidity. Saline, peach, flint, vanilla, oak.
A bit more oak in this bottling than I remember from previous vintages. Not a bad thing at all.
Just another example of the 2020 Kistler Chardonnay individual vineyards.
Exemplary.
Enjoyed with grilled fish and crab -

February 21, 2023 - Hazy gold, toasty scents of peach, sweet grass, and pineapple. Lighter bodied in the mouth, there are flavors of marshmallow, salty nectarine, and toasted wood. Overall feels young and could use some time in the bottle. Might be the vintage, but we generally drink these with a little time on them. Still really great to drink, don't get me wrong :)
