August 20, 2009 - Wow. This wine blew me away. Perfectly matched for my pallate at only $20. A huge deal. I will definitely pick up more when I visit the winery again. Nose/Taste: Tobacco, dark fruit, and spice wrapped around awesome blackberries and plums. Mouthfeel: Awesome body. Medium weighted and silky. Solid tannic structure that was not overpowerinly bitter. Finish was long 30+ seconds and very pleasing. As I said at the beginning - wow. I really liked this wine.
